Welcome to PsychEd. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and any related platforms provided by PsychEd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using our services, you (“User,” “Client,” “you,” “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our platform or services.
1. Definitions
- Company / PsychEd: Refers to PsychEd (operated under PsychEd Care) as the provider of counselling and educational services.
- User / Client: Any individual (student, parent, teacher, school representative, or organisation) accessing the platform or using our services.
- Platform: Refers to PsychEd’s website (psyched.care/Counselling), applications, and other digital or communication channels (including WhatsApp, email, SMS).
- Counsellor / Mental Health Professional: Licensed or trained professionals affiliated with PsychEd, authorised to provide counselling services.
- Workshops / Webinars / Resources: Group learning, training, or educational activities facilitated by PsychEd for students, parents, or teachers.
2. Nature of Services
PsychEd provides the following services (“Services”):
- Online counselling sessions (individual, group, family) with trained counsellors.
- Workshops and webinars for students, teachers, and parents.
- Educational resources including articles, toolkits, and videos.
Important: PsychEd is not an emergency or crisis intervention service. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, please call a local emergency number, helpline, or go to the nearest hospital.
3. Eligibility & Consent
- Users must be 18 years or older to directly avail counselling services.
- Users under 18 years require explicit parental/guardian consent to receive services. PsychEd will ensure consent is obtained before services are provided.
- By using our platform, you confirm that you have the necessary consent and authority to engage with our services.
4. Confidentiality & Record Keeping
- Counselling sessions are not recorded. However, counsellors may maintain confidential notes on the PsychEd platform for professional and ethical purposes.
- PsychEd ensures that all records are securely stored in compliance with applicable Indian data protection laws.
- Confidential information will not be disclosed to third parties except:
- Where there is risk of harm to self or others.
- Where required by law.
5. Communication
- PsychEd may communicate with Users via email, SMS or phone calls for reminders, follow-ups, and updates.
- It is the responsibility of the User to maintain the security of their communication devices. PsychEd will not be liable for unauthorized access to emails, texts, or messages.
6. Payment & Fees
- Payments for counselling sessions are made by schools, colleges, or institutions on behalf of students.
- Users (students/parents) are not directly responsible for payment unless otherwise agreed.
7. User Responsibilities
By using our Services, you agree that you will:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information.
- Use our services only for lawful and intended purposes.
- Not engage in any activity that could harm the Company, counsellors, or other users.
- Acknowledge that counselling outcomes may vary and no specific results are guaranteed.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content, resources, workshops, and training materials provided by PsychEd are the intellectual property of the Company.
- Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any materials without prior written consent from PsychEd.
9. Limitation of Liability
- PsychEd and its counsellors are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
- Counselling is a professional service, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
- PsychEd does not provide psychiatric or medical emergency care.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
- Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
- PsychEd makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted access, accuracy, or results of the services.
- PsychEd is not liable for technical issues, server downtime, or third-party failures.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vadodara, Gujrat.
13. Changes to Terms
PsychEd reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy, represent the complete agreement between the User and PsychEd.
